The English-language version of the Alphons Diepenbrock monograph by Leo Samama is now available, under the title Alphons Diepenbrock: The Life, Times and Music of a Dutch Romantic Composer. The book contains an introduction by the English composer Robin Holloway and features a recommendation by Jaap van Zweden, chief conductor of the New York Philharmonic.
Compared to the Dutch version, the English version has been expanded with extensive footnotes and extended indexes.
