Objective

The objective of the foundation is to disseminate and publicize the oeuvre of Alphons Diepenbrock. The foundation tries to achieve its goal by, among other things, printing and distributing scores, keyboard excerpts, the separate vocal and instrumental parts of all works left in manuscript by the composer Alphons Diepenbrock.

Policy plan

The marketing and sales / rental of scores is carried out by the music publisher Donemus. Within the framework of the objective, the foundation tries to promote interest in the work of the composer and its performance around commemoration dates, such as the 150th birthday (in 2012) and the 100th anniversary (in 2021) of the composer.

On the occasion of the 150th birthday, the foundation commissioned the writing of a monograph by Leo Samama. This monograph entitled “Alphons Diepenbrock. Composer of the Vocal ” was released in September 2012.

The 100th anniversary of the death of Alphons Diepenbrock will be commemorated in 2021. The board has negotiated with an English publisher to have the monograph published in the English language by September 2021. After 2021, the board will develop further policy.
